Roller Shutters are a simple and effective product to secure and weatherproof an opening, large or small. Suitable for loading bays, warehouses and shop fronts they are very robust, and can be operated by a variety of methods, inc self coiling, hand chain or 240/415 volt electric motors. The shutter curtain is constructed from cold rolled galvanised steel curved interlocking laths, secured at the ends by steel end locks, a preformed galvanised steel bar fitted at the bottom edge, and runs in steel side guides of various depths. The curtain is counter-balanced by the helical springs contained within mild steel tube positioned across the top of the opening. All components are secured to the prepared opening. Galvanised finish is standard, but polyester powdercoating is an additional option, together with coil casings, front fascias, wicket doors, and numerous electrical operational safety features. All shutters are manufactured to suit each individual opening.
