Earlswood Safeguard Multi Leaf shutter gates are renowned for their strength and attractive appearance. Suitable for both goods and passenger lift applications, their relatively small bunch depth mean they are the ideal choice when maximum car depth is important. The custom made panels make up this very unique structure, which adds a real distinctive look to any lift.

STANDARD SPECIFICATION

GATE BODY

The gate body is formed from a double heavy duty 16mm vertical picket channel construction interconnected by solid steel lattice work. The gate is top hung using hardened steel convex bearings connected to the pickets by solid steel pulley blocks. Running in the bottom track the gate body has specially cast steel guides. Galvanised finish as standard.

LEADING EDGE
The leading edge assembly is fabricated from double heavy duty 16mm vertical picket channels with full length 1.2mm galvanised steel plates either side. Large bow handle car/landing side and a recessed handle shaft side are fitted as standard. Recessed mathews catches, preparation for interlock beaks and preparation for key operated mortice locks are all optional extras.

GATE PANELS
The gate panels are formed from 1.2mm galvanised sheet complete with a heavy duty 16mm vertical picket channel riveted to the front edge for extra strength. Four 1.2mm formed galvanised slider strips are fitted over the length of each panel to interconnect the sections.

TOP TRACK SECTION
The top track section is constructed from two 3mm formed galvanised steel sections bolted together using 6mm fixings. Top track dimensions are 90mm deep x 69mm wide and is supplied with 25mm of packing shims as standard.

BOTTOM TRACK SECTION
The bottom track section is a 3mm galvanised steel channel with external dimensions of 25mm deep by 25mm wide as standard. Heavy duty fabricated bottom tracks are an optional extra.
